A1 Food Bazaar
Creating wealth through sustainable agriculture
vision for the future
about A1 Food Bazaar
A1 Food Bazaar Ltd. (Rc.1393794) is a leading provider of tailored agricultural solutions duly incorporated in Nigeria in 2017 to address the peculiarities and challenges of Agriculture in Africa.
At inception, A1 Food Bazaar Limited was originally designed to provide alternative physical (and online) sales platforms for wholesale and retail trading of agricultural produce including crops and livestock produce/products. This was to address the attendant logistics, handling and storage (for fresh produce and dry matter) weaknesses that characterize the Nigeria open-market-system which dominate the market end in the country.
These weaknesses end up compromising quality and shelf-life of produce, thereby impacting negatively the health of consumers while at the same time diminishing the earning capacity of stakeholders involved in the market end of the agricultural value chain.
However, the Company quickly saw the need to integrate its services backwards (from production to markets) in other to address the general supply side weaknesses that make it difficult to develop agriculture as a business in developing economies.
In order to achieve this, we had to forge alliances and build partnerships with seasoned technical partners, technicians and experts with successful track record of delivering and operating projects across Europe, Asia, South America and Africa in particular.
Today, at A1 Food Bazaar, we lay particular emphasis on the tailored and holistic development of value chains (for crops and livestock), from seed and seedlings development of high yielding hybrids to the integration of circular economy with minimal negative impact on the environment by deploying the smart and most suitable technologies and know-how to convert waste to wealth.
